Discover the impressive moment of the torpedoing of the Turkish battleship "Feth-i Bülend" by Admiral Nikolaos Votsis, a historical event that preceded the invasion of the Greek army into Turkish-occupied Thessaloniki in 1912. This act, associated with the naval prowess of Litochoro, inspired great enthusiasm amongst the people and the army and constituted the first naval success of the Balkan Wars.
The exhibit offers an immersive experience of the torpedoing of "Feth-i Bülend" using state-of-the-art audiovisual technologies. The experience contains a short 360° virtual reality (VR) digital animation including audio narration in Greek and English.
